Henry Capogna has been an active Eagle’s Wings Food Pantry volunteer, supporter and board member for more than three years since he and his wife, Cathy, relocated to the area from their native state of Michigan. A 50-year Radio & TV broadcast/sales veteran, Henry prefers to spend his retirement years actively assisting area non-profit organizations such as Eagle’s Wings, The Washington Noon Rotary Club, Toys for Tots and St. Peter’s Episcopal Church where he and Cathy sing in the choir and serve on the church’s community involvement team. Cathy and Henry have been blessed by family including daughter, Kyle, of Boston, Ma. son, Nicholas, a pharmacist at Vidant Health Care Systems /Greenville, Daughter-in-law Dr. Chelsea Marcuard, and two grandsons. An avid reader of newspapers and The Bible, Henry also embraces strong, vigorous, physical exercise daily as a member of F3 Washington. Finally, he simply encourages everyone to perform at least one “selfless act” each day to prove that you are inspired by the Holy Spirit.
