Rebecca (Becky) Furr recently moved to Washington from Charlotte, NC where she was in commercial real estate finance banking for 30 years. During the real estate downturn, she worked as a paralegal at an international law firm. While in Charlotte, she acted as an interim Youth Minister for Holy Comforter Episcopal Church, and also, coordinated events with the Wills for Heroes Foundation and the North Carolina Bar Association to prepare basic wills for Charlotte’s First Responders. Now retired and living in Washington with her husband, Steve Furr, she is a member of St Peter’s Episcopal Church where she is involved with various service and outreach projects. Becky has worked with Eagles Wings as a volunteer since October 2020 and was appointed a member of the board in May 2021.
