Cindi Everett Story:

Cindi has been a volunteer at Eagles Wings since February of 2019. In 2020 she took over our “tastings program”, preparing samples of healthy recipes for our clients to try and learn how to cook. These recipes focus on healthy ingredients available in our pantry and change monthly.

Cindi is instrumental in running our Tuesday distributions. She helps prep everything on Monday and then is back here on Tuesday to help distribute everything. She manages all of the fresh product and makes sure enough is on hand in the carts are prepped for distribution.

Cindi and Lon, her husband of 16 years, manage Camp Hardee for the Girl Scouts of America. Her husband is Camp Ranger and manages the whole operation and Cindy helps wherever needed. They live at the Camp year-round.

We are grateful to have Cindi as part of our team here at Eagles Wings. Thanks for all you do!!!

Premier Partners are United Bank customers who share the bank’s commitment to empowering historically underserved areas and people, developing affordable housing options, supporting small business growth and revitalizing communities. United works with its Premier Partners to understand community needs, implement product recommendations and provide services that will better meet the needs of the community.

To help further advance the mission of each organization, United supports its partners through activities such as hands on volunteerism, fundraising, board membership and corporate giving. Through the partnership with Eagle’s Wings, many United team members serve as volunteers and also sit on the organization’s board and various committees, supporting the mission and vision for both the bank and the nonprofit. “We’re grateful to partner with United Bank as we work daily to alleviate food insecurity in Beaufort County.” Executive Director Ann-Marie Montague said. “Since the start of our partnership, the United Bank team has been hands-on. They continuously look for ways to support Eagle’s Wings and we look forward to continuing to serve the community with United Bank by our side.”
