I spent the first part of my career in human services in the US – community action, substance abuse, working with physician education and mental health service management. In the second half of my career, I worked internationally in the former Soviet Union, former Yugoslavia, Haiti, and a few other locales. I concluded my international career with Refugees International and then additional consulting work overseas and US in organizational change and development. Since retirement I have done some ineffective yard work and spent time on a couple of boards of organizations. I am married, have 3 children , and 4 grand children
