WASHINGTON, NC – Unites Bank proud to support their local Premier Partner, Eagle’s Wings Food Pantry with a $5.000 donation to support their mission to alleviate hunger for our neighbors in Beaufort County. “At United Bank, we are proud to partner with the organizations that support the viability of the communities we serve,” said United Bank Coastal East Market President Rich Levy.

“Aligning with United’s commitment to the communities we serve. we are inspired by the work of Eagle’s Wings and are pleased to contribute to helping alleviate food insecurity in Beaufort County.” Recognizing the 360-degree relationships United develops with non- profit and public-sector agencies, the bank established its Premier Partner Program in 2017.

Premier Partners are United Bank customers who share the bank’s commitment to empowering historically underserved areas and people, developing affordable housing options, supporting small business growth and revitalizing communities. United works with its Premier Partners to understand community needs, implement product recommendations and provide services that will better meet the needs of the community.

To help further advance the mission of each organization, United supports its partners through activities such as hands on volunteerism, fundraising, board membership and corporate giving. Through the partnership with Eagle’s Wings, many United team members serve as volunteers and also sit on the organization’s board and various committees, supporting the mission and vision for both the bank and the nonprofit. “We’re grateful to partner with United Bank as we work daily to alleviate food insecurity in Beaufort County.” Executive Director Ann-Marie Montague said. “Since the start of our partnership, the United Bank team has been hands-on. They continuously look for ways to support Eagle’s Wings and we look forward to continuing to serve the community with United Bank by our side.”
